Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead – Java & AWS with strong expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS Cloud Engineering. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership for enterprise automation applications, drive architectural improvements, support cloud modernization initiatives, and lead development teams in Agile environments.
The candidate should possess deep hands-on experience in Java development, REST API integrations, AWS services, CI/CD implementation, and production support while mentoring teams and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance, enhancement, and support of enterprise applications built on Java and cloud technologies.
- Drive architectural improvements, scalability initiatives, and engineering best practices.
- Provide technical leadership for application modernization, automation workflows, and cloud-based solutions.
- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, task prioritization, and Agile delivery activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and downstream application teams for seamless integrations and timely delivery.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for automation and cloud applications.
- Design and implement high-performance REST APIs and Microservices-based solutions.
- Improve application reliability, operational efficiency, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
- Review application architecture, code quality, and integration designs.
- Mentor developers through code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical guidance.
- Support production issue resolution and system optimization activities.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes.

- 15+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in Java/J2EE technologies.

- EC2
- S3
- DynamoDB
- Lambda
- SNS
- SQS
- CloudWatch
- Experience building and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience deploying AWS environments using:
- CloudFormation Templates (CFT)
- Stack Sets
- Experience developing AWS Lambda solutions for data migration and integration.
- Strong experience with:
- JUnit
- Cucumber
- Unit and Automation Testing
- Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience using:
- Maven
- Jenkins
- Git
- SVN
- Bitbucket
- Bamboo
- Hands-on experience with SQL and database integrations.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems using REST APIs.
- Strong experience writing complex Java parallel streams and filters for optimized data processing.
- Experience designing and implementing Microservices using REST/Jersey frameworks.
- Exposure to Angular 13+ is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or banking environments.
