Location: 100% Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data AI Architect to lead modern data architecture and AI-enabled transformation initiatives across the enterprise data portfolio. The ideal candidate will drive the design and implementation of scalable Lakehouse architectures, Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) platforms, and real-time analytics ecosystems supporting advanced AI and GenAI use cases.

This role requires a strategic yet hands-on architect who can collaborate with executive stakeholders, design enterprise-grade data solutions, and operationalize scalable data and AI platforms across cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Data Architecture

• Design and implement modern Lakehouse architectures using Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers
• Define scalable enterprise data models and integration strategies across heterogeneous systems
• Establish reusable Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) frameworks using APIs and data products
• Develop enterprise-grade data architecture standards, governance, and best practices

AI & GenAI Enablement

• Architect AI/GenAI solutions for enterprise analytics, automation, and intelligent decision-making
• Support real-time learning and inference patterns for predictive analytics and GenAI applications
• Enable scalable AI data pipelines and feature engineering workflows
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to operationalize machine learning and LLM-based solutions

Data Engineering & Integration

• Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data processing
• Implement streaming and event-driven architectures for real-time data processing
• Build integration patterns across cloud, on-premise, and third-party platforms
• Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows

Cloud & Platform Engineering

• Lead cloud-native architecture initiatives with strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Implement scalable data solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and cloud runtime services
• Support hybrid and multi-cloud data ecosystems
• Ensure production readiness, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization

Governance & Data Management

• Integrate data governance and cataloging processes into enterprise architecture
• Work with tools such as Collibra, Alation, and Informatica
• Define metadata management, lineage, data quality, and security standards
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance and data management policies

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with business leaders, product teams, and executive stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance across data initiatives
• Drive strategic roadmap discussions and enterprise transformation programs

• Experience leading architecture discussions with executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern Lakehouse platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
• Exposure to MLOps and AI operationalization frameworks
• Knowledge of real-time analytics and event streaming technologies
