Role Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Global Design System UX Designer to join the Global Customer Experience Design team. This role will focus on building, maintaining, and evolving enterprise-level design systems that support scalable, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Figma, design systems, design tokens, responsive design, and accessibility standards (WCAG). The UX Designer will collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Leads, engineers, and cross-functional teams to create reusable UI components and ensure consistency across enterprise applications.
This role requires a strong understanding of atomic design principles, scalable component architecture, and modern UX/UI best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, document, and maintain reusable design system components and patterns.
- Create scalable UI components aligned with enterprise brand standards and Global Design System (GDS) guidelines.
- Develop and optimize existing design system components based on evolving business and branding requirements.
- Ensure consistency, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability across digital products and platforms.
- Work closely with UX Leads, Product Owners, developers, and designers to deliver intuitive and user-centered experiences.
- Apply atomic design methodologies including:
- Atoms
- Molecules
- Organisms
- Templates
- Utilize Figma Variables and design tokens to create scalable and maintainable design systems.
- Ensure all components comply with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Participate in all stages of the design lifecycle including:
- Research
- Ideation
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
- Testing
- QA validation
- Maintain and enforce design governance standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to support component implementation and design consistency.
- Contribute to responsive and mobile-first design strategies.
- Support enterprise-wide adoption of design system standards and reusable component libraries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI Design or Design Systems.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Figma for web and mobile application design.
- Experience creating and maintaining enterprise design systems and component libraries.
- Strong understanding of:
- Design tokens
- Figma Variables
- Atomic design principles
- Responsive design systems
- Experience designing scalable and reusable UI components.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
- Strong understanding of grid systems and responsive layouts.
- Experience working in Agile and fast-paced iterative environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong visual design, interaction design, and user interface design skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with UX Leads, Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development concepts.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Familiarity with Bootstrap or modern front-end frameworks.
- Understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level digital platforms.
