Regulatory QA Lead
Location: Stamford, Connecticut / Remote (as per client preference)
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory QA Lead to own end-to-end quality assurance activities for enterprise regulatory and compliance initiatives within a large, complex environment. This is a hands-on QA leadership role focused heavily on manual testing, test strategy, regulatory validation, defect management, and stakeholder coordination.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AML, KYC, regulatory reporting validation, compliance-driven QA testing, and enterprise application testing across integrated front-end, middle-tier, and back-end systems.
Key Responsibilities
QA Leadership & Ownership
- Own end-to-end QA delivery for regulatory and compliance initiatives from project intake through UAT readiness.
- Act as the single point of QA accountability for assigned regulatory programs.
- Drive QA planning, execution, reporting, and defect governance.
- Coordinate with delivery teams, business stakeholders, and UAT partners.
Test Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive test plans aligned to:
- Regulatory requirements
- Business scope
- Application impact analysis
- Execute end-to-end functional testing across integrated enterprise systems.
- Perform targeted regression testing based on release impact.
- Validate business workflows, application integrations, and reporting logic.
Regulatory & Compliance Validation
Strong experience required in regulatory testing including:
- AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
- KYC (Know Your Customer)
- Tax reporting validation
- Risk & compliance testing
Mandatory reporting validation experience:
- FR2052a
- FR Y-14
- FR Y-15
Responsibilities include:
- Regulatory data flow validation
- Data integrity testing
- Report output verification
- Compliance control validation
Manual QA Testing
- Perform hands-on manual QA execution across:
- Front-end applications
- Mid-tier systems
- Backend integrations
- Enterprise workflows
- Validate:
- UI workflows
- Customer profile behavior
- Third-party profiles
- Role-based access visibility
- Reporting permissions
Defect & Risk Management
- Track defects, execution progress, QA risks, and issue resolution.
- Provide regular QA status reporting to stakeholders.
- Escalate blockers and testing risks proactively.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with:
- Business stakeholders
- Delivery teams
- QA/UAT teams
- Compliance / regulatory teams
- Provide concise reporting and testing documentation.
- Support constructive challenge and quality governance discussions.
