Location: NJM14 - NJ - Mount Laurel, 1800 Bishops Gate (Ideally located in Mt. Laurel, but would consider split between Philly and Mt. Laurel)... 2-3 days onsite/week

Overview -

Looking for a hands-on Software engineer who has experience with Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) experience. Candidate needs to have experience working with Ruby on Rails, AWS, and CI/CD experience. It is expected that candidates will also have experience working with Java and API's as well.

 

 

Team is moving away from managed services tools towards open-source tools at Comcast - they've built tools and scanners to monitor 500k+ endpoints across the enterprise (servers, databases, etc)...

 

Tools - Python, Ruby on Rails (Priority), C++, Java, Shell Scripting... understanding of cyber security, understand SSDLC, Rest API development, Swagger, Postman, must have some cloud and infrastructure knowledge... how to develop and deploy in AWS, understanding Linux networking, CI/CD knowledge (jenkins, ansible, etc), GitHub, Open Source experience,

 

Team is split between US and India - working together to define and execute on deliverables

Security developer who would have knowledge of security best practices, focus on Zero Trust model (understanding at the very least)

Ideal years of experience - 5-6+

60% hands on dev / 30% stakeholder management / 10% learning, etc...
