Software Developer II
Location: Onsite Philly 2-4x per week, needs PA local
Visa: (GC/USC)
Works on software that sits on the DVR/other boxes and interfaces with remotes, including firmware upgrades, voice remote controls, etc
3-5 years of experience with C++
Dealbreakers/disqualifiers: lack of C++ experience; entire codebase in C & C++. Lack of linux also a red flag
Requirements:
Some familiarity with developing software in linux environment
C++ experience
Role will be extended past initial scope
General development support for adding new remote controls for products
Nice to have - previous experience in Yocto environment / build system stack. YOCTO IS NOT REQUIRED.
Working out of existing codebase to be extended to other projects
