Location: Miami, FL

Visa Status: USC, GC, GC-EAD,H4-EAD

Work Location: Miami ideally or Tampa (secondary) - working with the Tracfone Wireless team out of Miami (3 days a week) (Locals only)

Overview of project/skills required:

  

CLOUD LEAD – AWS

This team manages SRE platforms and operations. The manager in the seat now is overworked so they need a Lead to come take some work off his plate.

They need to be a true Lead that can communicate between business partners (there's about 8-10) and the engineers / development team. Development team is about 30 members mixed between on and offshore. Must be able to stick to deadlines, actually lead and solve problems, and relay and delegate responsibilities.

They work with cluster provisioning, and must have experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Jenkins, and microservices. Must have hands-on experience with Ansible and docker. They need to be able to read the code to see what the problem is!

 Will be working in GCP down the line IF they had this experience a PLUS does not need that right now

 

Technical background needed:

AKS EC2

Messaging que

PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Jenkins, and Microservices

Ansible and Docker

Then Devops background w/ jenkins

Coding:

Python

Java

Ansible (CI/CD)

Debugging

 

Observing and monitoring:

Open Search

Newrelic 

 

Day to day:

•            Be able to handle managing multiple projects on their own

•            LEADING other individuals and projects

•            Managing multiple stakeholders

•            24/7 availability (provisioning and monitoring) (should be on call to handle escalated alerts then delegate as needed or handle themselves)
