***We're looking for a program manager with experience in technology product development, specifically in networking or cybersecurity***

 

 

Overview: Team is responsible for program delivery for Comcast Business's Security / Engineering / Product team to market

 

 

Core responsibilities: Overall management, coordination, and status reporting - secure networking and cyber security product and engineering team

 

 

Work with eng and product teams to document program plans, direct work efforts, tracking and reporting progress, leading and facilitating end to end meetings with multiple stakeholders... must be able to manage multiple cross functional programs at medium to high complexity... typically have 2-4 projects per program

 

 

Preference is someone with experience within networking or cybersecurity space

 

Tools they use -> MS Project, Smartsheet, etc... not required, they just need to have familiarity with project management tools

 

YOE target -> 5-7 yrs at least, but preferably more

 

MUST have Program Management experience

 

Job Description: Technical Program Manager 4 Role: candidate may sit onsite in Philly or Plano TX.

 

Role Description:

 

• Responsible for overall management, coordination, status reporting of program-oriented work efforts for a Secure Networking & Cybersecurity Product and Engineering Team

• Implements program management processes and methodologies, working with a technical product and engineering team, to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and adheres to high quality standards

• Responsible for working with teams to document program plans, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately

• Responsible for leading and facilitating E2E meetings that include individuals from Product Management, Systems Dev, Operations, Engineering, Testing, Marketing

• Directs, establishes, maintains, and plans program work effort for product management and network engineering team and gains alignment working with cross-functional team members

• Responsible for tracking key milestones and adjusting program plans to meet needs

• Tracks and reports on progress as required by product and engineering management

• Communicates updates on major milestones, escalations, and status

• Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment.

• Manages multiple cross-functional programs of medium to high complexity.

• Performs as a highly capable Individual Contributor that is part of a larger Portfolio & Program Management Team

 

Skills:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience

• Typically, has at least 10 years of work experience in the technology sector/engineering teams, including 8 or more years managing projects.

• Experience with programs in multiple technologies and functions

• Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools
