Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
·        Design, develop, test, and deploy features and fixes primarily using Core Java 8 concepts and best practices.
·        Maintain and enhance existing enterprise applications utilizing older Java technologies such as JSP (JavaServer Pages) and Applets.
·        Manage source code and perform version control using Git, including branching, merging, and pull request workflows.
·        Configure and manage project dependencies and build processes using Gradle.
·        Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Java applications running on the WebSphere Application Server.
·        Work closely with the database team on schema design, query optimization, and data manipulation using Oracle Database (DB).
·        Participate in the planning and execution of modernization efforts for legacy components.
