Position Overview
The Data Architect - PL/SQL Local to Stamford, CT - hybrid onsite will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient database solutions. This includes creating data models, defining data flow processes, and implementing robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures using PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning for Oracle databases.
Responsibilities
Design and Architect: Create and maintain a comprehensive data architecture strategy, including data models, data dictionaries, and ER diagrams.
Develop and Implement: Write, test, and deploy complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database and query performance using tools like Explain Plan and AWR reports.
ETL Processes: Design and implement efficient ETL pipelines to handle large volumes of data from various sources.
