Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled React Native Mobile Application Developer to join our team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and modern JavaScript frameworks. The role requires strong expertise in mobile application architecture, UI development, API integrations, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Candidates must be local to the Dallas/Plano area and available for an in-person interview.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Application Development
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native.
- Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable mobile application components.
- Develop cross-platform applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions for mobile solutions.
- Implement native integrations and SDKs when required.
Front-End Development
- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using ReactJS, NextJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and NodeJS.
- Build reusable UI components and front-end libraries.
- Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Write clean, efficient, and cross-browser compatible code.
- Develop responsive designs supporting multiple screen sizes and viewports.
API & Integration
- Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with backend developers to define and consume APIs.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Work with caching layers, proxies, and API optimization techniques.
- Perform SDK integrations with third-party services and platforms.
UI/UX Implementation
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional applications.
- Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
- Provide feedback on usability, accessibility, and user experience improvements.
- Develop ADA-compliant and accessible user interfaces.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and maintain unit tests using Jest.
- Utilize testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma for frontend validation.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Ensure high code quality and test coverage standards.
Performance Optimization
- Analyze and optimize application performance across web and mobile platforms.
- Improve application responsiveness and load times.
- Implement best practices for memory management and rendering optimization.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
DevOps & Deployment
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.
- Work with source control and DevOps tools to streamline development processes.
- Participate in release planning and deployment activities.
- Support application monitoring and production support activities.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, and UX Designers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Clarify requirements and provide technical recommendations.
- Assist QA teams in testing and defect resolution activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on React Native Mobile Application Development experience.
- Strong expertise in React Native, Redux, Jest, Axios, and Expo.
- Experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, NextJS, and NodeJS.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Experience with unit testing and frontend testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience building scalable and high-performing applications.
