Role – Pega Senior Developer - Cloud Migration exp

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Pega applications using Pega 8.5 and related frameworks.
• Participate in migration of on-premises Pega applications to cloud platforms (Pega Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Analyze existing Pega applications and recommend migration and modernization strategies.
• Configure and develop case management workflows, business rules, integrations, UI components, and decisioning capabilities.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform application upgrades, deployment planning, and environment management activities.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and messaging technologies.
• Follow Pega guardrails and best practices to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release activities.

 

Required Skills
⦁              8+ years of hands-on experience in Pega development.

⦁              Strong experience with Pega 8.x, preferably Pega 8.5.

⦁              Experience migrating Pega applications from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.

⦁              Strong understanding of Pega architecture, case management, workflows, and rules engine.

⦁              Experience with Pega Deployment Manager and DevOps practices.

⦁              Hands-on experience with REST/SOA integrations and API development.

⦁              Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.

⦁              Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and application monitoring.

⦁              Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) required.
Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) preferred.
Experience with Pega Cloud migration projects.
Experience in Financial Services, Banking, or Credit Card domains.
Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native deployment models is a plus.
